As Lenskart's Global Design Team we create designs that bring out the best possible eyewear experiences across Lenskart’s omnichannel customer-first approach - connecting consumers and eyewear fashion from online to retail space. Our Global Brand Design Studio is responsible for all visual design experiences on the Lenskart app and web, this includes UI Design & Design for online campaigns. Our goal is to provide customers with a fashion-forward, transformative experience through product centric design interventions.

Who are we looking for

As a senior key member of the Global brand team, you'll lead a multi-disciplinary team of designers to manage the overall flow for online campaigns and UI projects. This role will report to the Head of design at Global Design Studio Lenskart.

What Your Responsibilities Will Be

  • Leading a large, well-rounded design team across the organization's online needs, from scalable campaigns to user interfaces design.

  • Managing the overall execution, process, and results of various online campaigns and UI projects. (Online sale & communication campaigns, landing pages, human centric UI design, In app Screens, Ul asset, iconography & Illustrations for app and web)

  • Driving substantial and challenging organization-wide initiatives that continuously improve the quality and efficiency of Lenskart App & Web.

  • Working with the team to create style guides, creative libraries, and design systems.

  • Establish objectives and key results, define resourcing plans, assess needs, make changes as necessary, and advocate for headcounts

  • Making your team accountable for their area's strategies based on the organization's vision.

  • As an active member of the design community, evangelizing the brand and Digital Design culture

Job requirements

What you will bring to this role

  • A bachelor's / Master’s degree in Graphic/Communication/UI design or any combination of education, training, and experience related to visual communication and user interface design.

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in the design industry in digital space.

  • Capable of identifying the intersection of consumer/user needs and business objectives. Can help frame projects for cross-functional teams and shape digital experiences with measurable outcomes

  • Excellent understanding of user-centered design methods, techniques, and end-to-end design processes

  • Works enthusiastically and collaboratively with cross-functional partners, building trusting relationships

  • Impeccable attention to detail in all aspects of your team’s work

  • Can identify great design and provide meaningful critiques of the team's work

  • Ability to drive initiatives that substantially increase the team’s impact, influencing decisions and pursuing big ideas

  • Able to clearly articulate vision and strategy to leadership

  • Big-picture thinking that defines and drives toward a bold future vision for your teams, users and the business

  • Have successfully led and launched large-scale cross-platform design projects (web, Android, iOS, emails)

  • Exceptional storytelling and communications skills — able to distill your work into narratives that motivate and influence cross-functional/cross-org teams

  • A fascination with innovation and technology and an expert understanding of digital tools and trends
