Job Overview:

The Social Media Lead will be responsible for developing and executing Lenskart’s social media  strategy to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and increase traffic. This role requires a  creative thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of social media

trends and best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company’s marketing goals.
  • Create, curate, and manage engaging content across all social media platforms  (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp, YouTube etc.).
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute social media campaigns and promotions.
  • Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and share insights with the team.
  • Lead the social media team across Lenskart platforms.
  • Work closely with the design team to ensure consistent branding and creative execution.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to  meet objectives.
  • Strategize and ideate for product launches and marketing campaigns and regular content calendar for all social channels.
  • Aligning marketing calendar with social media content teams and create content schedule for all platforms.
  • Creative ideation and planning for effective social media strategy optimised to each particular channel.
  • Collaborating with the internal teams, clients and partners on marketing strategy.
  • Coordinating with internal and external vendors to help create content series and IPs to build brand awareness as well as further business goals.
  • Support to develop and implement channel budget

Job requirements

  • Master Degree in marketing, mass media or related field with 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead, work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
