About the role

As a Visionary Eyewear Guru, you will be at the forefront of style and functionality, helping individuals find the perfect pair of glasses that not only enhance their vision but also make a bold fashion statement. Critical part of your role will be help us build our training program for new hire and act as a mentor and coach to the optometrist cohort. You will based in Bangkok and some level of travel within Bangkok is expected.


  • Use your keen sense of style and fashion to guide customers through an eye-opening experience. Stay up to date with the latest trends, frame designs, and lens technologies to provide expert advice on the most flattering and trendy eyewear options.

  • Be the guardian of visual clarity! Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to determine customers' prescription needs accurately. Utilize cutting-edge diagnostic tools and techniques to assess eye health, refractive errors, and other vision-related conditions.

  • Employ your exceptional interpersonal skills to establish a rapport with customers, understanding their unique preferences and lifestyle. Recommend eyewear options that not only correct their vision but also complement their personal style, face shape, and individuality.

  • Optical Precision: Perform precise measurements, adjustments, and fittings to ensure that every pair of glasses fits perfectly. Utilize your meticulous attention to detail to guarantee optimal lens positioning and alignment, allowing customers to see the world with maximum clarity and comfort.

  • Collaborate with a team of optical experts to select the ideal lenses for each customer's visual needs. Offer insights on lens materials, coatings, and specialized options such as anti-glare, blue-light filtering, and UV protection. Transform blurry visions into crystal-clear masterpiece.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere in the boutique. Offer post-purchase support, addressing any concerns or issues customers may have. Go the extra mile to ensure a delightful eyewear experience, earning lifelong loyal patrons.

  • Training for new staff - undertake regular review , analyze SOP’s such as eye test, quality check , dispensing, contact lens, troubleshoot, deliver to measure the impact of training on store performance

  • Mentorship - act as mentor and coach to newly hired optometrists . Help them with sales pitch , technical dispensing guidance, troubleshooting and customer query handling etc

  • Maximize in-store revenue through optometrists through continuous training, periodic reviews, increasing number of eye tests done at store and reducing returns

Job requirements


  • A licensed optometrist to be able to practice in Thailand and a passion for eyewear and fashion.

  • Extensive knowledge of optical science, lens technologies, and frame styles.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse customers. Able to speak Thai and English fluently

  • Attention to detail and precision in performing measurements and adjustments.

  • Up to date with the latest trends and developments in the eyewear industry.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, fashion-forward environment.

  • Possess contact lens (CL) knowledge through CL Fitting, Dispensing and aftercare and CL complications.

  • Currently based in Thailand and has Thailand market experience

  • Passionate about delivering world class standard customer service and is customer centric.

  • Organized with leadership skills.

  • Ability to adapt training methods to meet the needs of different learning styles.
