We had humble beginnings - we spread awareness about eyecare, we took orders for eyeglasses online and shipped them to customers from a warehouse that was the size of a modern-day conference room.

We have 10,000+ Lenskartians worldwide, more than 1500 Omni channel stores across 175 cities in India, Singapore and Dubai and cut to 2022 - we are shipping a pair of eyewear every 2.5 seconds, from the world’s most automated eyewear factory!

In 2022, Lenskart partnered with Owndays and took a majority stake in the Japanese-owned eyewear player that has a deep presence in Asia. With this partnership, we have added an additional 400 stores and extended our reach to 13 countries.

About the role:

As the Online Site/Gateway Copywriter for Lenskart in Thailand, you will be responsible for creating captivating and persuasive copy that resonates with our target audience and drives engagement, conversion, and retention on our online and social platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality copy that aligns with our brand voice, style, and objectives.

This role will be based out of Bangkok, Thailand. The ideal candidate is someone who has performed a similar role at an agency or brand.


  • Develop clear, concise, and persuasive copy for website landing pages, product descriptions, banners, promotional materials, and other online assets.

  • Write compelling headlines, taglines, and calls-to-action (CTAs) that capture attention and encourage user interaction and conversion.

  • Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and branding across all online channels and touchpoints.

  • Optimize website copy and content for search engines to improve visibility, rankings, and organic traffic.

  • Conduct keyword research, analyze search trends, and incorporate relevant keywords and phrases into copywriting efforts.

  • Collaborate with UX designers and developers to enhance the user experience and usability of the website and online platforms.

  • Implement persuasive messaging and storytelling techniques to drive conversion and achieve business goals.

  • Participate in A/B testing and optimization experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of different copy variations and messaging strategies.

  • Analyze performance metrics, user feedback, and behavioral data to identify insights and opportunities for improvement.

  • Work closely with the marketing team and brand managers to maintain brand integrity and identity across online channels.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.

  • 5-7 years of experience in copywriting, content creation, or digital marketing, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.

  • Exceptional writing skills with a strong command of the Thai language and proficiency in English.

  • Proven ability to craft compelling and persuasive copy that drives engagement, conversion, and retention.

  • Understanding of SEO principles and best practices for optimizing web content.

  • Familiarity with social and web analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) to track and analyze performance metrics.

  • Creative thinking, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
