About the team

Lenskart is looking for a dynamic transformational leader as part of the senior management team to lead the retail and operations business vertical in Singapore. This is a critical role for the growth of Lenskart given the expansion plans at hand. As an omni-channel business, the retail operations vertical plays a vital role in spearheading our efforts in establishing and enhancing our presence and customer’s experience in Singapore.

This role will be responsible for the overall success of all the Retail outlets in Singapore, ensuring a seamless omni-channel shopping experience for our customers, maximizing the profitability and sales volumes generated from retail operations. With a focus on delivering exceptional service and building a high-performing team, you will be at the forefront of Lenskart's growth and success in Singapore.

The role will be based in Singapore reporting to the SVP - Country Head of Singapore.

What your responsibilities will be

  • Lead and manage Lenskart's retail outlets in Singapore, ensuring they reflect our brand image and values.

  • Develop and implement effective store strategies to drive footfall, customer engagement, and sales growth.

  • Monitor store performance metrics and take proactive measures to achieve sales targets and KPIs.

  • Plan, set and manage the annual retail operating budget, re-forecast quarterly as appropriate and take steps to address underperformance.

  • Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing retail team to optimize their performance and growth.

  • Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure optimal inventory levels and timely replenishment of products.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and online teams to ensure seamless integration between online and offline channels.

  • Prepare regular reports on store performance, sales data, customer feedback, and operational efficiency.

Who we are looking for

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.

  • 8 - 10 years of experience in retail management, operations or related roles for the Singapore market.

  • Strong commercial and analytical skills.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to lead, train and inspire a sizable team of retail staff

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive business decisions.

  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and a customer-first mentality.

  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree would be a plus.

  • Good understanding of fashion industry

  • Mandarin speaking
