We are looking for a Global Compliance Head to oversee and manage the compliance and regulatory functions globally with operations across countries like India, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan, UAE, Thailand, KSA and other countries across Asia. This role is critical in ensuring that the company operates within the legal and ethical boundaries of all applicable laws and regulations.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Compliance Leadership:


  • Develop and execute a global legal compliance strategy aligned with the organization's goals and values.
  • Provide guidance to senior management on compliance matters and foster a culture of compliance throughout the organization.


Regulatory Compliance:


  • Stay updated on global regulations, laws, and industry standards affecting the business.
  • Ensure the organization's activities comply with all relevant regulations and standards.


Risk Assessment and Mitigation:


  • Conduct risk assessments to identify areas of potential compliance risk.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize exposure to compliance violations.


Global Compliance Team Management:


  • Recruit, train, and lead a global team of compliance professionals.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities, and provide mentorship and professional development opportunities.


Continuous Improvement:


  • Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of compliance programs and make improvements as necessary.
  • Keep up-to-date with best practices in compliance and risk management.




Job requirements

Qualifications:


  • Company Secretary or LLB with at least 5 years of experience in managing compliance.
  • Extensive experience in global compliance, regulatory affairs, or legal roles, with a proven track record of successful leadership.
  • Strong understanding of global compliance regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to changing regulations and effectively manage compliance in different regions.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
